After careful discussion, the Snow Elf agrees to take Dengarek back to Marlowe while the adventurers press on with their search for Manok. Eventually the team comes across two figures in the distance and, upon their approach, are startled to discover a vampiress conspiring with the same witch that has caused them so much trouble! Their moment of shock gets interrupted as soon as the vampire noble begins to summon a pair of incorporeal minions and orders them to attack the four stunned companions!
