Champions of Zaleria

Behold! Our intrepid adventurers begin their journey in the world of Zaleria, a fantastic land where magic abounds and ferocious creatures roam the countryside! While there have been many heroes (and villains alike) that have come and gone throughout the ages, these four brave souls are remembered for their daring deeds and indomitable spirits. They are not the first whose tales have been sung in taverns across the land, nor will they be the last.

Joren, the human monk, has traveled further from his monastery than he could have imagined. The journey has led him from the northwestern continent of Evaron all the way to the southwestern continent of Legolia, a place where different races vie for control over the vast terrain and limited resources. There he hopes to hone his skills and achieve enlightenment through acts of service, while maintaining strict discipline and purity of spirit.

Areya, the elven cleric, also hails from Evaron, though she calls the Golden City in the Wayward Woods her home. A disciple of Andros, the Lightmaker, she serves her deity by spreading the Word and Wisdom to other races, in the hopes that they might be inspired to improve themselves and serve something other than their own ambitions.

Melora, the human red mage, is a native of Legolia who was raised in the Long Library by a wizard of renown named Cecil, a former colleague of her father. A daughter of the late sorcerer Master Malacor, she honors her father’s legacy by dedicating herself to the study of magic and the perfection of her craft. Unsure of what the future holds, she embarks on a journey of self discovery and adventure.

Lorec, the half-elf ranger, also calls the continent of Legolia his home, however he was raised in Fenwylde Forest, where the town of Woodhaven is located. Occasionally pestered by bandits and other nuisances, Woodhaven is fiercely protected by the half-elves that settled there centuries ago to escape persecution from other races. Unsuccessfully attempting to avoid the persistent ennui he’s felt since he was a child, Lorec often takes extended hunting trips outside of the forest.

There’s a world of adventure waiting for them, full of excitement and intrigue!
