As always, the divine power of Lord Solarian and Lady Allura fills the two clerics with hope and a sense of peace that exudes from them like a calming aura. With every step they take around the town of Ebon Hold, the people nearby experience a comforting feeling that they can’t quite explain. After traveling for several days, Lorec and Joren finally reach Thaecordan and manage to recruit Rengardek the Dwarf as well. Fully healed from their last encounter and ready for the next adventure, he enthusiastically offers to join them for any of the battles that lay ahead! With that settled, the two companions set out toward Ebon Hold after a night of celebration with their old friend! During their return trip, Joren and Lorec decide to go fishing in order to relax for a moment while keeping the animal companions happy. As the monk and ranger catch the fish in silence, their bond grows deeper and begins to form a friendship based on mutual understanding of their differences. With hardly a word uttered, the two heroes continue on their journey with a newfound respect for one another. Upon returning to Ebon Hold, the Half-Elf relays the good news about Glim and Rendarek to Melora as they feed their hungry animal companions. Pleased that things are going so well, she thanks Lorec and discusses strategies with him until the two creatures are done devouring their meal.
